"When the days were approaching for His ascension,
He [Jesus] was determined to go to Jerusalem."
                                                             ~ Luke 9:51

Jesus' journey to the cross was purposeful and direct.
Luke 9:51 says that He was determined . . . a literal translation
of that phrase would be: He set His face toward Jerusalem.

He knew His calling and mission.
He was intentional as He moved with determination
to fulfill the will of His Father.
